Rs 54 lakh spent on CM's foreign visit

Bhopal, July 18 (UNI) More than Rs 54 lakh was spent on the foreign visit of an official team, led by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, to attract foreign capital investment in the industrial sector in Madhya Pradesh, the government told the Assembly today.

The seven-member team visited the United Kingdom and United States from May 10 to 22 this year, Industries Minister Babulal Gaur said in a written reply to Mr Arif Aqueel (Cong).

Besides Mr Chouhan and Mr Gaur, the team comprised Energy Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, Industries Principal Secretary O P Rawat, Chief Minister's Secretary Anurag Jain and M P Trade and Investment Facilitation Investment Corporation's Managing Director Pravin Garg and General Manager J N Vyas.
