Bhopal, July 18 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh State Industrial Corporation provided a loan of Rs 1.60 crore to Rukmani Solvex Private Limited but the matter was settled after recovery of merely Rs 51.84 lakh from the company, Industries Minister Babulal Gaur told the state assembly today.

In a written reply to Mr Sunil Nayak, Mr Gaur said the matter was settled as a part of one-time settlement scheme under which the company was still required to pay an interest of Rs 42,000.

''Lack of availability of adequate power and raw materials affected production in the company, which was shut down on June 29, 2002,'' he said.

In a written reply to Mr Premchand Guddu (Congress), Mr Gaur said it was not possible to declare a time frame regarding construction of an Information Technology park in Indore.

He said earlier a contract for construction of the IT park had been cancelled in view of neglect by the contractor.

In a written reply to Mr Gajraj Singh Sikarwar, he said more than 24 cases of illegal liquor transportation had come to light between January 2006 to June 2007 in Morena district. During this period, truck, jeep, and two-wheelers were seized.

Forest Minister Himmat Kothari informed Mr Umashankar Gupta that irregularities to the tune of Rs seven lakh had been detected in Narsinghgarh sanctuary in Bhopal circle in 2005-06. Prima facie, Assistant Forest Conservator V K Mishra was found guilty and a chargesheet was issued against him this February.
