Retd Colonel kills self in MP

Indore, July 18 (UNI) A retired colonel committed suicide here today by using his pistol.

''Col (Retd) A K Soni shot himself around noon at his Sukhliya area residence,'' said City Superintendent of Police G P Parashar. A suicide note found on the scene said he was taking the extreme step as he ''got fed up with life.'' The former officer's wife and son were on the house's ground floor when they heard the shot and ran to the first floor.

The Colonel was rushed to Bhandari Hospital where he was declared ''brought dead.'' UNI
