Reliance Energy Q 1 net up 25.45%

New Delhi, July 18 (UNI) Reliance Energy today said it has posted a 25.45 per cent jump in its net profit at Rs 221.56 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to Rs 176.61 crore in the same period a year ago.

The total income also increased from Rs 1,325.97 crore in Q1FY06 to Rs 1,983.93 crore during Q1FY07, company said in a statement.
