Polaris posts Rs 257.45 crore revenue in Q1

Chennai, July 18 (UNI) Leading software service provider Polaris Software Lab Limited has posted a revenue of Rs 257.45 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

For the quarter ended June 30, 2007, the consolidate revenue was Rs 257.45 crore, operating profit Rs 30.51 crore and PAT Rs 14.42 crore, a company release here said today.

Compared to the same quarter last year, revenues grew by 10.95 per cent from Rs 232.05 crore to Rs 257.45 crore.

The sharp appreciation in rupee against US Dollar created a negative impact of Rs 20.95 crore in revenue and Rs 10.62 crore in operating margin.

Polaris won six intellect platform deals during the quarter, the release added.
