No salary since two months for govt employees in Mysore district

Mysore, July 18 (UNI) Karnataka Government had not paid salaries for the last months to two lakh employees in four major departments coming under Zilla and Taluk Panchayats across the state, H K Ramu District President of Karnataka State Government Employees Association alleged here today.

Speaking to newspersons here he said government employees working in health, education, sericulture and animal husbandry department had not been paid for the last two months.

When asked, the officials' replay was that the finance department had not released the amount, he said.

He warned the government that if the dues were not paid within a week, a protest would be staged in front of ZP initially and later the employees would stop the office work.
