Kerala: NCP seeks CBI probe against KPCC chief
Thrissur, July 18: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader K Karunakaran has demaded a CBI inquiry into the allegation against KPCC President Ramesh Chennithala regarding a bribe of Rs 10 crore.
Talking to reporters here yesterday, he said he would explore possibilities to form a 1970-model United Democratic Front (UDF) in Kerala instead of the ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF) which was following 'anti-people policies.' Criticising the policies of the government, he said the attitude of the government towards the minority communities was ''childish.''
