MSME conducted 87 programmes in May 2007 for SMEs

New Delhi, July 18 (UNI) The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) conducted a total of 87 programmes to implement its various schemes, during May 2007, to assist the promotion and growth of small enterprises.

NSIC conducted 16 Intensive campaigns and 11 Marketing Promotion seminars at various places in the country.

About 1,582 participants benefited from these programmes.

The National Institute of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (NIMSME), Hyderabad conducted 35 training programmes for 515 participants. The Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE), Guwahati conducted 18 training programmes for 932 participants.

The National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD), NOIDA conducted seven training programmes for 135 participants.
