Meridian appoints Rensil as ECD, Kumar as president
Mumbai, July 18 (UNI) Meridian, the full-service ad agency of the Ogilvy Group, has appointed Rensil D'silva as Executive Creative Director and Kumar Subramaniam as President.
These appointments have been made to strengthen Meridian's senior management to meet future business growth, a press release here said.
Ogilvy&Mather, Asia Pacific, chairman Miles Young said in the release, ''Meridian is an existing name with the Ogilvy family...
And now it is staffed with armour-piercing creative fire power of Ogilvy in the form of the executive creative directors N Ramesh and Rensil D'Silva.'' Kumar Subramaniam has been with Ogilvy for over seven years, and has helped launch brands like Tang, Radio One, CNN-IBN and Excalibur from Arvind Brands.
Rensil D'silva has directed commercials for brands like Channel [V], Radio City, McDonalds, MTV, Ultra Perk, Odonil and Sony Music.
He also wrote the award-winning screenplay for ''Rang De Basanti''.
He is currently working on films with Mani Ratnam and Karan Johar, the release added.
