Srinagar, July 18 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir Cabinet has approved the restructuring of the Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS).
The Cabinet, which met here last evening with Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad in the chair, increased the number of duty posts from 318 to 406.
Similarly, super time KAS posts, in the grade of Rs 18000-400-22400, have been increased from five to ten.
The Cabinet also approved substantial increase in the number of posts in the special scale of Rs 14300-18300 and selection grade of Rs 12000-16500 in KAS.
