Industrialist missing; kidnap suspected

Jamshedpur, July 18 (UNI) An industrialist was reportedly abducted after he left his office at Chandil in Seraikela-Kharsawan district last night.

A kidnapping case was lodged with the Chandil police station today on the basis of complaint of the relatives of the missing industrialist Biswanath Garg, the owner of an induction furnace.

Police said Mr Garg, a resident of Sonari area here, went out from his office last evening at around 2000 hrs alongwith his driver.

Since then they were not traced.

The police team from both Seraikela-Kharsawan and East Singhbhum districts launched joint raids in several areas but no breakthrough was achieved so far.

An employee of Mr Garg's company was detained for interrogation, police added.
