Gujarat Alkalies infuses Rs 112 cr in Dahej plant

New Delhi, July 18: Country's largest caustic soda maker Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd (GACL) today said it has invested close to Rs 112 crore in its newly commissioned Hydrogen Peroxide Plant in Dahej.

The Managing Director of the company during his visit to Dahej has flagged off the first fleet of Hydrogen Peroxide tankers to various destinations in the country.

The state-of-art technology for this project has been supplied by Sweden-based Chemature Engineering AB and the project has been commissioned as per schedule.

With the commissioning of this unit, company has now two operating plants at Baroda and Dahej and will have a major share in the domestic market, a press release said.
