Former Orissa MLA passes away

Bhubaneswar, Jul 18 (UNI) Former Badamba-Narashinghpur MLA Trilochan Mansingh Singdeo passed away at his residence in Cuttack yesterday after a protracted illness.He was 75.

Mr.Singdeo,a known horticulturist in Orissa was elected to the State Assembly from Badamba Narasinghpur in 1971 and again in 1974 as Swatantra Party candidate.

He was elected to the Assembly for the third time during 1977 as an independent candidate and subsequently elected to the state Assembly for the fourth time in 1990 as Janata Dal candidate.

A popular leader in Badmba Narasinghpur area in Cuttack district Mr.Singdeo had dedicated his life for the overall development of the area.

Orissa Tourism Minister Debi Prasad Mishra and Information and Public Relation Minister Debashis Nayak have condoled the demise of Rajasaheb Trilochan Mansingh Singdeo.
