Delhiites experience another hot and humid day

New Delhi, July 18 (UNI) Despite a slight drizzle early in the day and clouds hovering around, a hot and humid day was endured by Delhiites with temperature soaring to 36.6 degrees Celsius.

Even as the minimum temperature for the day was 27.8 degrees, a degree above normal, the maximum temperature at 36.6 degrees was two degrees above what generally is found at this time of the year, leading to hot day.

Until 0830 hrs, 0.1 mm rainfall was recorded in Delhi, said the weatherman, adding that humidity in the city rose to 91 per cent maximum while minimum was placed at 49 per cent.

For the next 24 hrs, it predicted a warm and humid day with partly cloudy sky and possibility of thunder showers in some areas.
