Deaths toll rises to 10 in Kerala Dist

Kozhikode, July 18 (UNI) With the recovery of three more bodies today, the death toll in rain-related incidents in Kozhikode District rose to ten during the last two days.

Official sources said the bodies of Madhavi, Aneesh and Vibeesh were recovered from their native places of Elathur, Chelavur and Olavanna in the District.

Revenue Minister K P Rajrendran, who addressed an emergency meeting of the top officials of the district, said altogether 138 people were killed in rain-related incidents in the State so far.
