CR to run special trains to Pandharpur for Ashadi Fair

Mumbai, July 18 (UNI) Central Railways today announced that it will run two special trains from Amravati/Khamgaon to Pandharpur to clear the extra rush of pilgrims attending the Ashadi Fair at Pandharpur.

According to a CR release, 0131 down Amravati/Khamgaon-Pandharpur special will leave Amravati at 1300 hrs on July 22 (Sunday), and July 24 (Tuesday) and reach Pandharpur at 0825 hrs the next day.

Similarly, 0132 up Pandharpur-Amravati/Khamgaon will leave Pandharpur at 1600 hrs on July 27 (Friday) and July 28 (Saturday), and reach Amravati at 1150 hrs the next day.

The special train will halt at Bandnera, Murtizapur, Akola, Shegaon, Jalamb, Nandura, Malkapur, Bodwad, Bhusawal, Jalgaon, Pachora, Chalisgaon, Nandgaon, Manmad, Kopargaon, Belapur, Ahmednagar, Daund, Bhigwan, Jeur and Kurduwadi stations, the release said.

The train will have 18 coaches, of which 13 will run from Amravati while another five will be added from Khamgaon, including two sleepers class and 16 general compartments.

The booking for the special services will be open from tomorrow, the CR release added.
