City court gets bomb hoax call

Hyderabad, July 18 (UNI) An anonymous call received by three judges of the Metropolitan Magistrate Court informing them of a bomb placed in the court complex turned to be a hoax.

Police said the judges received the call at 0930 hrs and were told the bombs would explode in a short while in the court premises.

The authorities immediately alerted the police who rushed to the spot along with senior officials and personnel from the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad besides two sniffer dogs.

The police evacuated the employees from the court and conducted a thorough search of the premises.
