FSMM assures extra edge to IT
Kolkata, July 18: Having placed more than 2000 candidates in about 23 global companies, Futuresoft Management (FSMM) is confident to grow from the current 25 to 30 per cent this fiscal, with its new Career Lounge.
Inaugurating the Career Lounge here yesterday, FSMM CEO Ayann Chatterjee said the lounge would train students and professionals in a way best suited for the big corporates along with software consultancy and placement facilities.
With an annual turnover of Rs three crore last fiscal, FSMM had set up this Lounge to cater candidates with lot more besides software training.
''We intend to make candidates feel free to approach consultants to discuss their career and be advised for free,''Mr Chatterjee said.
He also added that this Lounge was not set up for business purpose but to harbour free and open discussions among the aspirants and the professionals.
With two other centres each in North and South Kolkata, the FSMM also has its presence in Durgapur and Bhubaneswar.
''We have invested Rs 50 lakh for this Chowringhee centre and we expect to open another in Rourkela by this October,'' the CEO said adding that they have plans of setting up another centre in the image of the one in Central Kolkata (Chowringhee).
The centre would train students and professionals to use widely available used tools in business applications and keep them abreast in the latest trends in IT and e-Commerce industry.
FSMM does not concentrate on providing certificates. Instead they provide the candidates, with masters in engineering, management and accounts, hands-on training and experience in its long list of clientele companies.
Presently FSMM deals with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), a business concept tool that integrates the total functioning system of any company.
