Blueline kills doctor, hurts a 52-yr-old, crushes another

New Delhi, July 18 (UNI) In the continuing 'bloodbath' by Bluelines in the city, a 40-year-old doctor was crushed to death by a bus which tried to overtake another in Chandra Vihar area of East Delhi this afternoon.

The driver and the conductor of the Blueline, plying on route no 534 (Anand Vihar to Mehrauli) managed to flee the spot, according to sources.

Parimal Malik, resident of Patparganj, was trying to board a bus when an overspeeding Blueline overtook from the left side, leaving him crushed between the two vehicles.

Hailing from West Bengal, Malik has two children and a wife.

In the second incident, a 52-year-old woman came under the rear wheel of a Blueline after she slipped while getting down in Model Town area of North Delhi this evening.

However, the driver of the bus (route no 127) Raju (25) has been arrested.

In another incident in Sagarpur area of West Delhi a man was crushed by the rear wheel of a Blueline as he slipped while getting down.

The driver and the conductor of the bus, running on route no 721 (Uttam Nagar to Nehru Place), were absconding.

The condition of the victim, Sudhir, admitted to the DDU Hospital, is said to be serious.
