Blast wounds several in Afghan capital: Police

Kabul, July 18: An explosion went off in a crowded market on the outskirts of the Afghan capital today, wounding several people, police said.

The cause of the roadside blast was not known immediately, they said. It happened on the western edge of Kabul, scene of a series of suicide attacks, targetting Afghan and foreign troops.
