Advocates' court boycott continues

Puducherry, July 18 (UNI) Functioning of the courts here remained affected for the third day today with members of the Bar Association continuing their indefinite court boycott.

The agitation was to protest the inauguration of the Integrated Court Complex here on June 29.

Lawyers said though it was claimed to be an Integrated Court Complex, facilities were availbale only for the civil court.

It was decided to conduct criminal case proceedings in the present building itself.

Moreover, there was no chamber for the Bar Association in the new complex, they alleged.
