AP: Aanivara Asthanam celebrated at Tirumala

Tirumala, July 18: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams today celebrated 'Aanivara Asthanam' at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple here.

As part of the festivities, the deity of Malyappa Swamy and his consorts Sridevi and Bhoodevi were taken out in a procession around the four mada streets on a bedecked palanquin, tonight.

Hundreads of devotees witnessed the celebrations and participated in special poojas.

In view of Anivara Asthanam, arjitha sevas such as Archana, Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva and Sahasra Deepalankara Seva were cancelled.
