State legislative council adjourned following pendemonium
Patna, Jul 17 (UNI) The Bihar Legistive Council was today adjourned twice during pre-lunch sesson following pendemonium created by the Opposition over the demands of salary and other facilities to the panchayat representatives.
As soon as the members assembled for the day, 20 of them moved an adjournment motion over Panchayati Raj System.
Acting chairman of the legislative council Arun Kumar said the members would be given time to speak on the issue after the question hours. But they insisted for a debate on the matter and launched a in the well of the House. The noisy scenes continued for ten minutes after which the Chairman adjourned the House till 1130 hours.
When the members reassembled, some of the agitating members again sat on dharna in the same place leading to its adjournment till lunch session.
