Kerala: Special train for stranded passengers

Thiruvananthapuram, July 17: The stranded passengers of Train No 2696 Thiruvananthapuram-Chennai Super fast train will continue their journey upto to Ernakulam in a special train utilising the rake of passenger Train No 345.

A special train will run from Ernakulam Jn to Chennai for the passengers of train No 2696 Thiruvananthapuram-Chennai superfast train. This train is likely to leave from Ernakulam Junction at 0300 hrs.

Due to the derailment of the loco of Thiruvananthapuram-Chennai Super fast train, the following trains are diverted to run via Kayamkulam and Alappuzha.

Train No 6347/6348 Thiruvananthapuram-Mangalore Express, Train No 6343/6344 Thiruvananthapuram-Palakkad Amritha Express, Train No 6329 Thiruvananthapuram-Mangalore Malabar Express and Train No 2695 Chennai-Thiruvananthapuram Superfast Express, a Railway release said here tonight.
