SPARC on NSE, BSE bourse from tomorrow

Chennai, July 17 (UNI) Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company Ltd. (SPARC), a pharmaceutical innovation company, will list on the National Stock Exchange and Mumbai Stock Exchange tomorrow with the ticker codes SPARC (NSE) and 532872 (BSE).

With this, SPARC becomes the first pure research company to be listed on an Indian stock exchange, a company release said here today.

SPARC now owns the demerged innovative business of Sun Pharma, comprising drug discovery and delivery system projects targeted for the world markets.

It has received active NCE and NDDS projects, a team of scientists, equipment and research space. One of the NCE leads, an antihistamine molecule, was in phase II trials in the US, the release added.
