Six killed as explosion rocks former Chief Justice's rally

Islamabad, July 17 (UNI) A powerful explosion killed at least 6 people near a stage erected for a rally, which was to be addressed by former Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chuadhry here tonight.

No further details were immediately available but local TV channels put the death toll at 10. Mr Chaudhry was on his way to venue of the rally organised by Islamabad district bar when explosion took place.
