Prisoner escapes from Anand sub jail

Anand, July 17 (UNI) An undertrial escaped from the Anand district sub jail early this morning.

Girish K Waghri, who was arrested in a looting and kidnapping case, was taken to the toilet by jailor Somabhai today.

Later, the undertrial escaped after scaling the 12-foot compound wall.

The police have sealed all exit and check points in the town but the prisoner has not yet been traced.
