Principal suspended in forgery case
Kathiar, Jul 17 (UNI) J M Mahila College principal Manju Verma has been suspended on charges of alleged forgery and cheating.
Official sources here today said Ms Verma was suspended with immediate effect after she was found prima facie guilty of misappropriating the funds of the college meant for development and other academic activities.
The action was taken after the preliminary investigation report was submitted to the administration of the B N Mandal University, of which the concerned college is a constituent unit.
''During the investigation, it was detected that Ms Verma had produced forged papers at the time of her promotion as a professor,'' sources added.
