Plan to target security forces foiled,IED defused in Kashmir
Srinagar, July 17 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police today foiled a militant plan to target security forces when they detected and defused a powerful Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in the south Kashmir district of Pulwama.
A police spokesman said militants had planted a ten litre liquid IED on the busy Khrew-Wuyan road early this morning to target security force vehicles.
However, an anti-sabotage team of police station Khrew detected the IED and defused it without causing any damage.
