One killed in tractor-trolley-train collision

Muzaffarnagar, July 17 (UNI) A man was killed and his son was severely injured, after a tractor trolley passing through an unmanned railway crossing dashed against a speeding train in Bahavan area here today.

The mishap occurred near Karaudi village at Saharanpur-Shamli railway line, where a tractor trolley carrying Raj Kumar (53) and his son Naresh collided with the train, police said.

While, Raj died on the spot, Naresh was rushed to hospital in a critical condition.

The duo were residents of Sonta Rasolpur village.
