No problem with army officials, says IIMI

Indore, July 17 (UNI) Amidst reports of army officials creating trouble in different Indian Institutes of Management during the one year special course, IIM-Indore has no problem with the Army officials, says its Director Dr S P Parashar.

''The course is running superb here and in a very disciplined manner inside and outside the campus. Attendance is also cent percent and the army officials are punctual in the classes'', added Dr Parashar.

The one year special course for army officials, soon to be retired was started on the initiative of the Army's Directorate General of Resettlement in different IIMs three years back, but recently IIM Ahmedabad and Bangalore had complained about the behaviour and attitude of the army officials.

The IIM-I Director said the institute has got 60 seats in this course and currently the third batch has been studying. Two batches have alrady passed out. ''We have made things clear from day one and the rules and regulations are also clear for voluntarily running course,'' he added.
