Missing Malaysian 'copter found, six dead-report
KUALA LUMPUR, July 17 (Reuters) A Malaysian air force helicopter missing since last week has been found crashed on a mountainside in the central state of Pahang and all six crew were killed, the official Bernama news agency reported today.
All six were air force officers, Bernama said, quoting a statement from the Malaysian Air Force. The wreckage of the helicopter was found today afternoon with its rotor blades detached.
The helicopter was reported missing about 10 minutes after it took off from an air force base in the capital Kuala Lumpur on the way to Pahang last Friday, the report said.
