Labour superintendent and mukhiya chargesheeted

Patna, July 17 (UNI) The state vigilance bureau and Bihar police today submitted the chargesheets of two separate cases of bribery against a labour superintendent and a mukhiya before the special vigilance judge of Patna S K Panwar.

The police submitted a chargesheet before the special court against labour superintendent of Nalanda district Mukesh Kumar Sinha under various sections of prevention of corruption act.

Mr Sinha was arrested by Nalanda police while accepting a bribe of Rs one thousand from a contractor for providing labour license on May 18,2007.

Meanwhile, the state vigilance bureau submitted a chargsheeet before the designated judge against Jagdish Pandit, Mukhiya of Barith Panchayat in Nalanda district under prevention of corruption act.

The Mukhiya was arrested by the vigilance sleuth while accepting the bribe of Rs 3500 from an applicant of Anganbari assistant for her selection on May17,2007.
