Kuldeep Khuda is new J

Srinagar, July 17 (UNI) Senior IPS officer Kuldeep Khuda wil be the new Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police, replacing Mr Gopal Sharma who has been appointed as security advisor to Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad.

The decision was taken at an important cabinet meeting chaired by Mr Azad here this evening.

Mr Khuda is an officer of 1974 batch.

In another decision the cabinet promoted two principal secretaries S S Sahani and S S Kapoor to the rank of financial commissioners.
