All party Legislators should exercise franchise: CM

Hyderabad, July 17 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy advised all the party Legislators to be present here to exercise their franchise in the Presidential poll on July 19.

Addressing the party Legislators at a special Congress Legislature Party meeting this evening, he said UPA-Left supported Presidential candidate Prathiba Patil would get maximum number of votes from the state.

He said the district in-charge Ministers should coordinate with the Legislators of the district allotted to them. He directed that all members should be present in the city for the election.

Party election observer and former Goa Chief Minister Luzinho Falerio said Ms Prathiba Patil would win the Presidential elections and asked the members to carefully exercise their franchise.

While praising the Chief Minister for initiating several welfare measures for the poor people including housing schemes, he said Andhra Pradesh government was number one in the country for providing free power supply to the farmers.
