2 killed as rickshaw collides with tractor-trolley

Ahmedabad, July 17 (UNI) Two persons were killed and two others seriously injured when their rickshaw collided with a tractor-trolley on Ahmedabad-Katlal highway.

The deceased have been identified as Govind Popat Thakor and his friend Rajnikant H Rawal.

Thakor, along with his three friends, was returning to the city from Katlal last night when the vehicle rammed into stationary tractor-trolley from behind near Kanvah village in Ahmedabad rural area, police said today.

While Thakor and Rawal died on the spot, the injured have been admitted to the civil hospital here. All the four were residents of Manavnagar society, near Vatva railway crossing, here, police added.
