Prior to the blasts, the conspirational meeting had been held at the residence of prime absconding accused Tiger Memon at the Al Husseini Building at Mahim here on a Friday.

Yakoob Memon, a blast convict and brother of Tiger Memon, had handed over money to a co-accused for purchasing air tickets for enabling few other accused person to fly to Pakistan to receive arms training, on a Friday Designated TADA court judge P D Kode, who conducted the trials in the case, began delivering the verdict from September 12 last year -- a Friday. Three members of the Memon family were convicted by the court and two were acquited by the court then.

The court has fixed July 20 as the date for pronouncing the sentence upon Rubeena Memon, who is sister-in-law of Tiger Memon and is the only female convict left who is yet to be awarded punishment. July 20 is a Friday.

On July 20, the court may also award sentences to Yakoob Memon and his two brothers.
