PFC net jumps 103 pc to Rs 308.64 crores

New Delhi, July 16: Power Finance Corporation (PFC) today said its net profit soared by 103.18 per cent to Rs 308.64 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to Rs 151.90 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.

Its total income also rose by 35.57 per cent to Rs 1,145.8 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to Rs 845.13 crore for the corresponding period a year ago, company said in a statement.
