Media blew up kissing episodes: Amisha

Bhopal, July 16 (UNI) Bollywood starlet Amisha Patel feels that media blew up kissing episodes involving Shipa Shetty-Richard Gere and Bipasha Basu-Cristiano Ronaldo.

''There is no controversy in these matters. Media blitz over these issues is unwarranted,'' Amisha, who was here to attend a private programme, told reporters here today.

Prominent people, such as Hollywood actor Richard Gere, visit country for a social cause and are dragged into a controversy.

She disapproved allegation that actresses adopt these tactics to gain popularity.

Replying to a question, she said, ''We do not use media rather media uses us as per its wish.'' The actress of 'Kaho Na Pyar Hai' fame said she was ready to perform an item number if she got a good opportunity.

Pointing out that she did not intend to increase the number of her movies, she said she signed films depending upon its quality.

Responding to query regarding marriage, she said she was focussing on her film career at present.
