Hearing into Bal Thackeray matter adjourned till July 26
Mumbai, July 16 (UNI) A local court today adjourned till July 26 the final hearing in a case filed against Shiv Sena Chief Bal Thackeray for allegedly publishing a provocative article in ''Saamna'' on June 21 last year.
An Andheri court had issued summons and directed Mr Thackeray to remain present in the court in connection with the case filed against him by Nationalist Congress Party leader Munna Tripathi.
Mr Thackeray had moved the sessions court for a stay on the summons, following which an interim stay till June 15 was granted.
The matter will now come up for final hearing.
Mr Tripathi had alleged that ''Saamna'', on June 21 last year, had carried a provocative article which could have led to tension between two communities.
