Explosion strikes outside UK embassy in Chile

London, July 16: An explosion struck today outside the British embassy in the Chilean capital of Santiago, causing minor damage to the building, a Foreign Office spokesman said.

The spokesman said there were no reports of casualties so far and that an investigation was under way.
