DIG interrogated for misbehaviour with woman

Patna, July 16 (UNI) Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Railway Protection Force (RPF) Premjit Rawal was today interrogated by GRP here in connection with alleged misbehaviour with sister of a woman IAS officer of Bihar cadre.

Police superintendent (Rail) Ajitabh Kumar said that interrogation lasted for over two hours during which he explained his position.

''The altercation over a pretty issue led Sujata Preyashi, sister of IAS officer Vandana Preyashi, to lodge a complaint against him'', maintained the DIG during the interrogation, police added.

Earlier, Vandana Preyashi had lodged a complaint against Mr Rawal on July 9 at GRP police station at Patna Junction accusing him of misbehaving with her at Sampoorna Kranti Express while she was on way to Patna from New Delhi.
