'Abhishekam' performed at Tirumala Temple

Tirumala, July 16 (UNI) An 'abhishekam' to the presiding deity was performed today as a prelude to the annual 'Anivara Asthanam' to be held at Sri Venkateswara Temple here tomorrow.

In view of the annual festival, daily rituals like Arjitha Astadalapada Padmaradhana Seva, Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva and Sahasra Deepalankara would not be performed tomorrow, TTD sources said.
