Andhra Pradesh: 2 crushed to death

Machilipatnam, July 16: Two workers killed on the spot and three injured near Nawabpet of Penuganchiprolu Police Station Limits in Krishna District in the wee hours of today in a mishap.

The mishap occurred when some workers were pulling out a paddy truck struck in a roadside canal when the pulley gave away and the vehicle fell on them crushing them to death.

The injured were sent to the Vijayawada University Government Hospital for treatment.The bodies were sent to Nandigama Government Hospital for post-mortem.
