UNPA decision against democratic principles: Rajnath

Dharamshala, July 15 (UNI) BJP president Rajnath Singh today manitained that the decision of the United National Progressive alliance (UNPA) to abstain from voting in the Presidential polls, was not in line with healthy democratic traditions.

Every member of Electoral College for the presidential poll should cast his or her vote to uphold the democratic norms, he said while addressing a media conference here today.

The UNPA decision would only benefit the Congress, he observed.
