Rcom launches bundled mobile internet data cards
New Delhi, July 15: To promote usage of mobile internet services, Reliance Communications (Rcom) has launched for the first time a bundled mobile internet data card, to avail free of cost services to its customers.
Company's Chief Executive Officer (Personal Business) S P Shukla said the new pricing plans, including providing a data card to Reliance Netconnect customers at virtually no cost, will further enhance the value proposition of Reliance telecom services.
The company tied up with laptop manufacturers like Hewlett Packard, Lenovo and HCL, to provide zero data cost for customers purchasing the laptops of the companies.
Mr Shukla added that the company offered the best prices for its data cards. It also gave customers flexibility to choose from a wide range of options, which included getting a free data card against 12 months subscription to the popular freedom plan or 24 months subscription to the swift 40 plan.
A customer can purchase the data card by making a payment of Rs 2,850 for USB data card and Rs 2,990 for PCMCIA data card, which is 28 per cent lower than the current prices.
