PCC President vouches for cohesiveness within party

Puducherry, July 15 (UNI) Puducherry Pradesh Congress Committee President P Shanmugham today called upon the Congress Ministers here to maintain cohesiveness and ensure that the people had a stable government for the full five year term.

Addressing the party workers on the occasion of the birth anniversary celebration of veteran Congress leader and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Kamaraj here, Mr Shanmugham said there was deviation from the principles that were promoted by Kamaraj.

He said partymen should never give room for any conspiracy engineered by some vested interests.

Mr Shanmugham said Puducherry had been witnessing Congress rule almost after every elections and hence it was the duty of the partymen to retain public faith.

He paid rich compliments to Kamaraj and his service for the cause of the poor.

Chief Minister N Rangasamy, his cabinet colleagues and party legislators participated in the meeting.
