Ministry expansion fatal for Nitish govt: Lalu

Rajgir, Jul 15 (UNI) RJD Supremo and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad today said the day Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expands his cabinet it will prove to be his 'doomsday'.

Addressing the valedictory session of the RJD workers training camp here, Mr Prasad said "the cabinet expansion would bid 'adieu' to the Nitish Kumar government, the very day it happened.'' Mr Prasad claimed the cabinet expansion would 'backfire' at Nitish government, triggering a battle among the aspiring NDA MLAs, who were being cajoled by both Mr Kumar and the deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi.

Realising the fact that Mr Kumar was deliberatly delaying his minsitry's expansion, he said and mainatined that the cabinet expansion would prove to be 'fatal' for the state government.

Mr Prasad claimed Mr Kumar would never opt for the expansion.

The Railway Minister also dubbed the Nitish Kumar government as a government of 'contract', saying that the people would snap the contract midway as the masses have now realised that Mr Kumar was just creating a 'brouhaha' and 'euphoria' in the name of development.
