Manimandapam to be built as a tribute to Kamaraj

Puducherry, July 15 (UNI) A 'manimandapam' in honour of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Kamaraj would be constructed as a fitting tribute to the late leader for his dedicated service, Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy said today.

Speaking at a function after releasing a DVD brought out by a Chennai-based private company depicting the life of Kamaraj on the occasion of his birth anniversary here, Mr Rangasmay said his government was implementing welfare schemes that were dear to Kamaraj.

He lauded the efforts of the company and its owner Vazhappadi Ramasugandhan for bringing out the DVD.

PCC President P Shanmugham received the first copy of the DVD.
