Man hacked to death, other seriously injured

Dehradun, July 15 (UNI) One person was hacked to death and another was seriously injured here, police said today.

According to police sources, the dead body of Shajid (23), resident of Muzaffarnagar, who was working as a supplying agent of BKG Associates, was found in a pool of blood this morning at a room of BKG Associates godown, Kanvli Road, by his colleagues.

Meanwhile, watchman Digamabar was found lying unconscious at the backside of the Godown with stab injuries in the back of his neck.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital where his condition was stated to be serious.

According to a colleague, Shajid had joined the company two days back.

Police said prima facie evidence pointed towards personal enmity as wallets of both the victims were found intact in their pockets and a locker containing about Rs 1.5 lakh in the room was not touched. The Kotwali Police have started investigating the matter.
